The shelf-stable boxed coconut waters tasted bland, artificial, and were loaded with added sugar and preservatives. The refrigerated ones, marketed as "healthy," were too sweet and syrupy for my taste.
That's when I realized I had to do something about it. As an immigrant I missed the fresh, pure taste of coconut water I grew up with. So I took a leap of faith, flew to Kerala, India and made direct connections with local coconut farmers.
We worked with scientists and experts to perfect a technology that would preserve the taste and nutrition of coconut water, just as it is in its natural form. After years of hard work, we finally did it!. Here is a little story about our first batch of coconuts.
We sourced them from our friend's farm in Kerala. They shared with us about the struggles they face selling their coconuts - dealing with middlemen and no control over pricing, and were often paid late or not at all.
Well we weren’t having any of that. We made a pledge to establish a direct trade relationship with them, ensuring fair pricing, timely payment, and helping them gain access to a wider market for their coconuts.
Our partnership has made a positive difference. With your support, we are doing our part to assist local farmers and their communities.

Like other fruits and vegetables, it has enzymes called polyphenols that can turn the coconut water pink when exposed to oxygen.
This natural reaction is similar to how an apple turns brown when you leave it out after biting into it.
